Travel Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Tours

 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The purchase of any travel services offered by Tour Time authorized to do business as “Coimbatour” (hereinafter "Coimbatour”) constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and Coimbatour, and represents your acceptance of the Coimbatour Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking. You are advised to check on the Web sites or to request the latest version of the Terms & Conditions from Coimbatour prior to booking your Tour.

 

HOW TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION ?

DEPOSIT:

The price of the package or an part thereof (as per the policy of Coimbatour) has to be made in advance. This is non-refundable deposit is required for Coimbatour to reserve space for you. Your booking is not confirmed and payment is not deemed made until the deposit is received by Coimbatour and you receive a confirmation invoice for your booking. Your reservation will be automatically canceled if deposit is not received by Coimbatour by the deposit due date. On certain departures, deposits may be required at time of booking to hold or to confirm space for you. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and unconditionally accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Please review and verify your booking invoice thoroughly and contact Coimbatour immediately if your Tour invoice appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes or modifications later. Coimbatour cannot accept responsibility if we are not notified of inaccuracies immediately on receiving the invoice. In the case of billing errors, Coimbatour reserves the right to re-invoice you with correct pricing.

 

FLEXIBLE PRICING:

Coimbatour commits to provide the price advantage to their customer who are availing the same package on the same day on exceeding minimum number of passengers. Every time you choose a package on exceeding minimum number, the price of the tour will decrease.  The final price of the tour will be calculated at 6.00 PM of the previous day of the tour.  If you had already booked the tour with the full price or higher than the final price, the differential price will be credited with the Redeemable Points.  You may opt to adjust these points against the next tour or can avail a cash refund. The refund shall be made only at Boarding Point and NOT AT PICKUP POINT.  You shall avail the refund within 6 months from the date of Tour or even prior to boarding on the day of the Tour.  You should bring the Ticket and valid ID to avail the refund or adjust against the any other tour.

 

BOOKING CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS:

The booking once made cannot be cancelled/ changed since it has a flexible pricing.  However, the same can be transferred to any other person with the valid proof and prior intimation and authorisation. If a booking cancellation is received by Coimbatour, the amount paid towards the trip will be retained and forfeited in addition to any other entity’s imposed cancellation fees or penalties. Total price does not include discounts, promotions, or special incentives.

Coimbatour reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any Tour departure for any reason, including insufficient demand or force majeure. If a Tour is canceled prior to departure, Coimbatour’s only responsibility will be to refund the amount received for the reservation. Coimbatour cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or any fees relating to other travel arrangements not made through Coimbatour.

 

PARTICIPATION, ON TOUR BEHAVIOUR & PUNCTUALITY:

As you are traveling with a group of travelers on Coimbatour, all participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is not disruptive to the group and in a manner that is appropriate for group travel. For the benefit of everyone on the Tour, Coimbatour reserves the right to accept or reject the booking of any Tour participant and to remove any Tour participant from participating in or being a part of one or more itineraries were his or her conduct is deemed inappropriate & incompatible with the interest of the other travelers. Coimbatour is not responsible for any losses, including missed sightseeing or having to make alternate travel arrangements, if you fail to meet the representatives of Coimbatour at assigned timings and places/pick up points while on tour. Coimbatour will not refund nor cover any cost or expenses incurred for termination of Tour arrangements due to unacceptable behavior or inability to maintain punctuality. The decision of behavior being acceptable or unacceptable rests solely with Coimbatour.

 

TRAVELERS WHO NEED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE ON TOURS:

You must report any disability requiring special attention while on tour to Coimbatour at the time the reservation is made. Coimbatour will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so nor responsible for any denial of services at any place of visit or by any independent suppliers. Coimbatour cannot provide individual assistance to any Tour participant for walking, dining, getting on and off motorcoaches, and other vehicles, or other personal needs. a qualified and physically able companion must accompany travelers who need such assistance and must assume full responsibility for their well being. All travelers with Coimbatour are subject to the Participation clause above.

Not all sightseeing stops / sites accommodate wheelchairs and some locations and sightseeing activities require extensive standing, sitting or walking, sometimes on unpaved or cobblestone streets. Coimbatour is not responsible for any missed activities due to a participant’s inability to participate with the group. Most transportation services, including the touring motorcoaches are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. The Tour participant must clarify the details of any required assistance with Coimbatour before making a booking request. You assume the full risk of use and of any prohibitions imposed by any vendor.

 

YOUNG TRAVELERS:

Travelers who are under 12 years old on the departure date must be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour.

Infants:

Coimbatour strongly recommends not to bring your infants who are less than 24 Months.  This makes the tour more enjoyable for you as well as for the fellow passengers.  This is basically, certain tours are more than 12 hours and infant may not be able adjust the conditions throughout the day.

Free of Charge:

Child less than 5 years old can travel free subject to the entry fee imposed at certain places.

No seat will be provided to the child less than 5 years and must sit on the lap.

25% Discount: Young travelers between the age group 5 and 12 will get 25% of Discount of the tour price.

Age proof must be provided on demand.

 

RULES & POLICIES OF PLACE OF VISIT:

The rules and regulation and policy of the respective authorities of place of visit is applicable to the travelers and they are expected to oblige with same. The traveler is personally responsible for any consequences for non adherence to the rules or policies therein. Coimbatour is not in any way responsible if any of the travelers are not allowed to visit any place due to specific policies therein and no partial or full refund or compensation can be claimed in this regard. Please contact Coimbatour to understand any specific restrictions that are related to your itinerary

 

SMOKING / ALCOHOL:

Smoking / Alcohol is strictly not allowed on transportation that is exclusively provided by Coimbatour.

Many Places imposed a 100% non-smoking policy and many cities have imposed non-smoking regulations in public spaces.

 

PRICE POLICY:

All Tour prices are in Indian Currency and are based on per rates (reflecting foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Tour prices are per person. 

Prices are subject to increase without notice, subject to the guarantees set forth below.

Once Coimbatour has received full amount price is guaranteed and you are protected against any price increase. Any subsequent increases are at Coimbatour’ expense, not including entry cost increases and / or any government tax increases.

 

PASSENGER IDENTITY:

In order to ensure safety and security of all its passengers, Coimbatour requires all its travelers to submit a copy valid government issued identification document which carries a photo of the passenger and his / her address. All the Non Indian travelers have to submit a copy of their Passport first and last page. This is necessary to be submitted for every passenger above the age of 12.

 

BAGGAGE:

Always travel light.  No heavy baggage’s are required.  No responsibility is accepted by Coimbatour for loss of or damage to baggage or any of the traveler’s belongings throughout the duration of the Tour.

For security reasons Travelers are not allowed to the following objects Sharp objects, Sporting goods, Guns and firearms, tools, Martial Arts or self defense items, explosive material, Compressed gases, Flammable items, Oxidizing material, Poisonous and infectious substances, Radio-active material, Corrosives, and other dangerous articles.

 

NOT INCLUDED IN THE VACTION PRICE:

The following charges are not included in the Tour price:

Snacks, Water bottle, Food and beverages, boating or other facility charges applicable for the place of visit, Charges for carrying Still or Video Camera, Charges for special Dharshans or Pujas in place of worship, and all other items of a personal nature.

 

REFUNDS:

Please note that any request for refunds is subject to these Terms & Conditions; no refund will be made for unused services.

 

SERVICE INQUIRIES AFTER THE TOUR:

After returning from your tour, if you wish to inquire about any services provided, please ensure that all correspondence relating to those services is received by Coimbatour.

Any complaint or claim involving the Tour services offered by Coimbatour involving the negligence of any suppliers, subcontractors, or agents in relation to any service provided to the Tour participant, must be notified to Coimbatour while on Tour or within 3 days of the Tour completion failing which it will be deemed that the Tour participant is satisfied with the services available, except where such time limitations are prohibited by law. Any delay in forwarding the complaint could result in reduction or even forfeit of the expected compensation from the supplier, if you do not follow the complaints procedure set out in this clause.

As it is difficult and sometimes impossible to properly investigate a complaint if Coimbatour is not advised of such complaint quickly, any compensation you may have been able to claim could be reduced or even forfeited if you do not follow the complaints procedure set out in this clause.

 

HOLIDAYS:

During local or national holidays or special events, peak seasons, on Sundays, and during religious occasions, certain facilities such as museums, churches, restaurants, sightseeing tours, hotels, and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible. Coimbatour cannot be held responsible for any closures, necessary itinerary changes or curtails for any reason.

 

SAFETY:

Please be aware that during your participation in Tours operated by Coimbatour, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, automobile, or other means of transportation; forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Coimbatour will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. While Coimbatour will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken, by agreeing to participate in a Tour and/or optional excursions you agree that you will hold Coimbatour harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. Coimbatour is not responsible for such risks and dangers that may arise beyond our control. Payment of your deposit indicates you accept these risks and dangers and agree to hold Coimbatour harmless for such.

 

PHOTOGRAPHS OR PICTURES:

Photographs or pictures appearing in this website should be used solely as an indication of facilities and attractions. Actual facilities and attractions may vary according to itinerary.

 

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS & ACTIVITES:

Optional activities and excursions (“the Services”) available for booking are provided by local operators or other third parties that are entirely independent of Coimbatour and do not form any part of the product or services sold to you by Coimbatour or of these Terms & Conditions, even where Coimbatour suggests particular operators/other third parties and/or assists you in booking such optional activities or excursions. Your contract for such Services will be with the organizer or operator of that Service and will be subject to its Terms & Conditions, which may contain exclusions or limitations of liability. Coimbatour has no liability for any such optional activity or excursion or for any act(s) or omission(s) of the organizer or operator or for any of its employees or agents or any other person(s) connected with the optional activity or excursion.

Any advice or assistance on or with any Service provided by any local representative does not mean or imply that the Service is sold, supervised, or controlled by Coimbatour or that any such advice or assistance is given on behalf of Coimbatour. Tour participants are asked to check with the operator of any optional activity or excursion and the applicable Terms & Conditions before booking.

For operational reasons, not all optional excursions listed in the tour itinerary, in print or online or in travel documents may be available during your Tour. Your Tour Manager will advise of availability while on tour.

 

SEAT ALLOTMENT AND OTHER CONDITIONS:

Seat Allotment is based on first cum first serve basis.  The management reserves the right to modify the seat allotment considering the fellow passenger.

Change of boarding place is/are not allowed on the confirmed ticket(s).

Submission of a printed copy of the e-Ticket is imperative. Failing this, the traveler must provide the Xerox Copy of the relevant Valid Photo ID Proof and also the PNR number provided by us at the time of booking. (This is possible only while the boarding is done well ahead of the boarding time). If the conditions are not met then the traveler will not be permitted to board the bus.

If there is any conflict, while boarding the bus our staff are authorized to demand the details of your e-booking and the relevant Authorization ID* (Name with Photo proof).

The charges will be billed to your credit / debit card as "Tour Time".  All prices are listed in Indian Rupees. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will automatically convert to your home currency based on that day's exchange rates.

When you press pay button in Payment gateway page, the server will process your credit-card in about 10 seconds, but it may be longer at certain times. So wait for some more time. To avoid double charge, DO NOT presses the ‘Submit button more than once’, or presses the ‘Back’ or ‘Refresh’ buttons.

Non-authorization of payment more than once by payment gateway for tickets booked by you is liable will result in deregistration of your account with this site, without any notice
IF you have booked another seat(s) without confirming your previous booking status, that will cause you dual charge. Company will not be responsible for this and you have to cancel that second or first booking on your own.

 

REFUND TOWARDS FAILED TRANSACTIONS: 

Due to network conjunction, timeout issue or if you were trying to use more than one window while booking or using the stored session from the history page or use of Back Button or using browsers other than IE, you may receive wrong debit from your account.

 On a daily basis the payments reports from the Payment Gateway banks are analyzed by an expert in-house team along with the tickets issued report (Except on holidays). Any discrepancy arising out of network congestion or out of user’s negligence is identified, checked and refunded on day-on-day basis. These refunds are processed by the respective gateways as used by the user and sent back to the issuing bank (user’s card banker) in batches, which should approximately take about 5 working days. Coimbatour offers no guarantees whatsoever for the accuracy or of the time factor of the refunds reaching the Customers card/bank accounts. This is on account of the multiplicity of organizations involved in processing of online transactions, the problems with Internet infrastructure currently available and working days / holidays of financial institutions.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

Tour Time located at 9/716 Shakthi Nagar, Kalampalayam, Pacchapalayam post, Coimbatore- 10 is an independent entity involved in selling and distribute travel products under the Coimbatour, brand names, and arrange for the Tour services including transportation, sightseeing, and through independent contracts.

All additional service providers and other suppliers providing services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, servants, or joint venturers of the Company or its affiliates. All certificates and other travel documents for services issued by the Company are subject to the Terms & Conditions specified by the supplier, which are available upon request, and subject to the respective laws.

Tourtime’s maximum liability is the maximum which would be payable by the respective service provider in that situation.

After departure, if the services included in the Tour cannot be supplied or there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of the Company, depending on the circumstance, the Company will take reasonable action to arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any resulting additional expense will be the responsibility of Tour participants, and any resulting savings will be refunded by the Company to Tour participants.

The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a Tour participant; to expel any participant from the Tour or any itinerary in the Tour; to make changes in the itinerary whenever it deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the participants; and to cancel a Tour at any time.

The Tour participant agrees that neither Tour time nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss), or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing services, any insurer or insurance administrator under the Trip Protection plan, or any other person.

 

DISPUTE RESOLUTION:

Any dispute between the Tour participant and the Company directly or indirectly relating to the Terms & Conditions shall be mailed to Tour Time.

No person, other than an authorized representative of the Company by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition on its brochure or website, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.

 

TRADE NAME:

COIMBATOUR is a trade and service mark owned by Tour time and may be the subject of trade and service mark applications and / or registrations in other global jurisdictions.
All the Terms and Conditions are Subject to Coimbatore Jurisdiction.
